Mackintosh's Toffee
Mackintosh's Toffee is a unique Canadian treat that starts out hard and becomes creamy soft as you chew. Mackintosh's Toffee is over 100 years old: John Mackintosh first opened shop in Halifax, Yorkshire England in 1890 and decided he needed a line of sweets that would be unique to his shop. At that time, English toffee was mostly hard and brittle, and American toffee was very soft. John had the idea to blend the two to form a unique toffee, and so Mackintosh's Toffee was born.
Price: $5.99
